This is an old post. But we are reproducing here so that people who don't know about this village come to know about it.
This is the village of my ancestors. The village is situated 5km west of Daniawana. The village given its raised mound and the size appear to be quite old. There are many mounds; some of them appear to be abandoned villages, which appear to be dating back from Buddhist/ Mauryan age. The villages appear to be in route of linking Patliputra to Rajgriha and Nalanda. The name of the village appears to be of medieval origin. The village is on the banks of a branch of Falgu River surrounded by flat alluvial soil fields. The fields of the village bear testimony to the genius of the great people of Magadh-well laid out scheme of ahar and paiyn system of irrigation along with water reservoir in the form of big ponds. The paddy fields of Tope get irrigated effortlessly from the river water of Falgu through the aahar and paiyns. The system of irrigation has been locally referred as chchalan in magahi. - Kaushal Kishore

Tope is my native place.most of villagers are working hand. They employed themselves in different field in addition to agriculture based employment. Most of the parents try to educate their children at the top level and send their child in different top most institution of the india. about 50 years back a person from top was sent abroad for higher education by bihar government.the area in tope village are badki kuina,bichli gali,pachhim patti,milkipar,tope school.

The memory of this village always keeps with me because it is the place where my childhood spent.Bichli gali is the most famous place of this village where I live. I feel the feelings of this gali always in the deep heart. People are very familiar with each other. A government middle school and high school are running and intermediate (10+2) school will be established very soon.The TOPE HIGH SCHOOL was very famous in the decade of 1960 to1970 because the presentation of girl student were always good than boys student.It was the great achivement of those periods. The villagers are very religious and they have been celebrating the DURGA PUJA since 1921. On the occasion of durga puja a cultural programme (drama) also organised since 1921. Chatth puja, Saraswati puja, Laxmi puja are also celebrated by the villagers very happily. Tope is very-very good village.-
The village mentioned above is a gawn for me…the word gawn is for the sense “that has kept me covered with the total sanskar and humanity”. What the gawn keep against cold….. word gawn is same as gram means village …. For this TOPE is…. for me. Vicky , (Green Medical Hall) Tope
